Qwik Pipe, Inc. provides water transfer, poly pipe, and equipment rental services to the oil and gas industry in Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through qwikpipe.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

This policy covers our website only. It does not cover information you give us in the field, over the phone, or in a contract.

Information you give us

Our website has two forms, the contact form and the quote request form. Both ask for your first and last name, your email address, a subject line, and your message. The quote form also has an optional checkbox to receive news and updates from us. It is off unless you tick it.

That is the only information the website asks you for. We do not have customer accounts, we do not sell anything online, and we never ask for payment details, bank information, or Social Security numbers through this website. If a page claiming to be Qwik Pipe ever asks you for those, it is not us.

Information collected automatically

Our website is hosted on Squarespace. Like most websites, it records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, what browser and device you used, and the site you arrived from. Squarespace sets cookies to make the site work and to produce visitor statistics for us.

We use this only to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site running. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and blocking them will not stop you using the site.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote, to contact you about work we are doing or have done for you, to send you news and updates if you ticked the box, and to keep records of what was asked and what we quoted. We do not use your information for anything else without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not trade or rent it to anyone.

We use two outside companies to run the website and our email, and your information passes through them as a consequence. Squarespace hosts the website and delivers form submissions to us. Google Workspace carries our email. Both are bound by their own agreements to handle that information only to provide the service.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if we need to establish or defend a legal claim.

Marketing email

If you tick the updates box, you will get occasional email from us about our services. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it. Unsubscribing does not affect quotes, invoices, or any other email about work we are doing for you.

Job applicants

Our Careers page offers an employment application to download. If you fill it in and send it to us, we use it only to consider you for work at Qwik Pipe and we keep it with our hiring records. We do not publish it or pass it to anyone outside the company.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and quote requests for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our records or to meet a legal obligation. When we no longer need them, we delete them.

How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Our email runs on Google Workspace with its standard protections, and access to our systems is limited to staff who need it.

No system is perfect, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. If information you gave us is ever exposed, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete what we hold unless we are required to keep it, send you a copy of what you gave us, or stop sending you marketing.

Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. If we turn down a request you can ask us to look at it again. We do not use your information for targeted advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions about you, so the rights relating to those do not arise.

To make a request, email keaton@qwikpipe.com or write to the Houston address below. We may need to check who you are before we act, so that we do not hand your information to somebody else.

Children

This is a business website for the oil and gas industry. It is not meant for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to our pages on Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing it.
